Compassionate therapy for tweens, teens, young adults and families

Ryan Fay is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who concentrates on helping teenagers and their families navigate the pressures of young adulthood. He specializes in addressing depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues with clients in both family therapy and one-on-one sessions, with the goal of helping teens and families find healing and peace.

The teenage years can be truly difficult. There’s the pressure of going to school, maintaining good grades, taking part in extracurricular activities, and the demands of daily social interactions. All of this while dealing with hormonal fluctuations and a changing body. It’s no wonder why some teens struggle to find their “place” amongst it all.

As a teen, you may feel like you’re going through all of this alone. You may wonder if your friends are really there for you. You may even think your parents can never understand what you’re going through, leaving you feeling confused, upset, and isolated.

As a parent, you may be struggling as well – wondering why your teen seems so unlike themselves and why you can’t seem to do anything to make it better.

Neither of you has to go through this process by yourself. If your family is struggling with the challenges of adolescence, Out of The Woods Counseling can help you find harmony.
